First Test Release!

The first test release is now available for download here :

There are a lot of changes from 0.0.8 (and a lot of bugs).

This release is intended just for testing purposes, its not ready for production as there are a lot of bugs and unfinished features. If you are feeling brave or just curious about the new stuff then download the zip and extract it into an eclipse install (probably not your day to day work install) and try it out.

Among the new features are :

  • New Parser / AS2 Model (only just started integrating..)
  • Classpath Manager
  • Build Manager
  • Console Logger
  • Swf Viewer configuration
  • Bundled MTASC
  • Flash Help Converter
  • Flash Develop Importer

I’ll be writing detailed posts about each new or updated feature over the next few days so you get an idea of where we are going.

If you do test out this build and want to report some issues please send us a mail to the users list

and remember to always backup your work :)

  2. Wow! That’s awesome guys! Love to see ASDT reborn!, hope some time in the future could see an integrated development envoriment to create AS2, AS3 and even Flex!
